Who Am I?

Who am I? As I get older, I am beginning to realize how difficult it is to answer that question. To say that I am a mother or a wife or an SEO professional all seem way too simplistic. After much careful consideration here is my answer:

I am a work in progress.

I know who I’d like to be…I’d like to be the woman who greets each day with vibrant energy, boundless enthusiasm, and pure excitement for life. I’d like to be that super mom who breezes through her 8 hour work days, cooks a delicious and nutritious meal for her family, and manages to spend quality time with each of her children and her spouse while effortlessly keeping the laundry caught up and the house immaculately clean.

But, oh, how I am not that person;
but I’m TRYING and that counts for something, doesn’t it?

Some days I am a pretty darn good person. On those days, I am forgiving, loving, caring, compassionate, and a good listener. It is those days I am the type of person I would befriend. On other days, however, I am not that person at all – not even close.

I admit I am sometimes too self-absorbed;
but I’m TRYING and that counts for something, doesn’t it?

I have always felt a deep yearning to be greater than I am now. My life is a journey to find my truest self. I believe the meaning of life is to find what you truly are passionate about and then use your skills to bring value to other people’s lives.

Unfortunately, I’m still on my quest to find out what it is that I truly am passionate about – other than my kids, of course.

I am always searching, always striving, and often coming up just shy of my bliss;
but I’m TRYING and that counts for something, doesn’t it?
